Bars show indicative total freight cost. Transit times are port-to-port; add 2–5 days for clearance and inland delivery.
Why chargeable weight matters. Air freight bills on the greater of actual weight or volume ÷ 6,000 cm³/kg. Sea LCL bills per CBM or per 1,000 kg, whichever is higher. Light bulky cargo is almost always cheaper by sea.

FBR structureFiler status matters. Active taxpayers on the FBR list typically pay 1–5.5% advance income tax at import. Non-filers can face materially higher rates, and it is not refundable in the same way.
How Pakistan stacks its import levies

Because sales tax sits on top of the duty-paid value, the levies compound. A 20% headline duty rarely means a 20% cost increase — model the full stack before you commit.

Paying Chinese suppliers from Pakistan
TT / Bank wireFastest and cheapest for trusted suppliers. Usually 30% advance, 70% against a copy of the bill of lading.
Letter of CreditBank-guaranteed and safest for large first orders, but slower and it ties up your limit. Sight LC is standard for Pakistan importers.
Contract registrationPakistani importers must route payments through proper banking channels with correct EIF and contract data — Titan Chain prepares the documentation set.
Escrow / Trade AssuranceReasonable on Alibaba for small first orders, but it does not protect you on quality — that is what pre-shipment inspection is for.
